Huobi to list Toncoin cryptocurrency (TON) on 7 September

Toncoin will be listed on 7 September 2022 and the asset will be available in the TON/USDT pair for spot trading.
The TON Foundation and Huobi have announced an expanded collaboration that will include a number of joint activities, not just the listing of the TON cryptocurrency.
According to Lily Zhang, CFO of Huobi Global, leveraging its user-friendly products, TON could become one of the most promising blockchains in the digital economy. It has the potential to attract hundreds of millions of users to the cryptocurrency industry in the very near future. For its part, Huobi Global is always ready to support projects created in the TON ecosystem.
What is Huobi planning apart from listing Toncoin
Once Toncoin is listed and available in the TON/USDT pair for spot trading tomorrow, a marketing campaign will be launched at the same time. It will have a budget of 1 million tokens. The campaign includes a contest for traders, airdrop and stacking up to 300% p.a. As pointed out by Steve Yoon, co-founder of TON Foundation, this is an important step in the collaboration with the Huobi Global exchange.
The strategic partnership between the Huobi Group and TON Foundation will not be limited to listings only. It will include expanding Web3 capabilities, supporting businesses and developers, introducing technologies and products based on the TON blockchain, incubating projects, and providing investments for startups.
As a reminder, TON is a third-generation blockchain with proof-of-ownership, originally developed in 2018 by the Durov brothers, the founders of Telegram Messenger. It was then transferred to the TON community.
The TON Foundation is dedicated to supporting and developing the blockchain. The project’s native token, Toncoin, is the only cryptocurrency now available for transfers between users within Telegram using the @wallet bot.
TON Foundation representatives note that TON ecosystem products are rapidly evolving, and widespread adoption of TON, is a key goal. The @wallet bot makes it easier to buy and send cryptocurrencies in the Telegram app, and to learn about the blockchain payment industry.
